Walnut Point State Park
We are proud that we have removed multiflora rose from the Upper Embarras Woods section of Walnut Point State Park every December since 1994. Upper Embarras Woods is a 65-acre state nature preserve that borders the Embarras River and contains numerous large oak trees. It is recognized as a outstanding remnant of presettlement forest, and is the best remaining example of streamside forest along the upper Embarras.
